The first all-gospel recording by Melvin and Ray in several years, with long-time friends Ralph Stanley and Larry Sparks each contributing three songs. Although Ray has played only selected engagements with the band since recovering from heart surgery in late 1994, he plays and/or sings on all but one selection on this recording. He wrote two of the songs on the project and sings tenor to both Ralph and Larry on their songs. Art Stamper plays fiddle on the songs done by Ralph, with Buddy Griffin doing the balance of the fiddle work.
